THE BLUE FROG PHILOSOPHY
Staff
Our philosophy in simple. We look after our staff so they will look after our customers. We spend time and money in training staff, we listen to their ideas and we make changes as necessary to keep the work atmosphere lively and energised.

We are very grateful for our good fortune in having a wonderfully dynamic team of special people working within the Blue Frog. Thanks to the many guests who have contacted us with thanks and congratulations to our staff for the great dining experience they have had.

It may be an old cliché, but we firmly believe that our staff are our greatest assets. We all know how important it is to enjoy one's work, so we are committed to offering our staff the opportunity to learn, grow and contribute during the time they are with us, be it a short casual stint or a long term permanent relationship. Our aim is to add value to the working lives of our valued staff members.
Food
Our cuisine is Contemporary Australian and our dining style is relaxed yet elegant. In Brisbane, we are probably more blessed than any country or region in the world with the very best variety and quality of foods. Australian chefs are world-renowned for combining the wonderful flavours of other cultures with the freshness of Australian produce. Benny Loh is a master in food design and takes full advantage of living and working in Brisbane.
His Nonya Peranakan cultural inheritance and his extensive international training and experience in Singapore, France, Japan , Bermuda and Australia are reflected in the Blue Frog menu through his wonderful combinations of classic style and exotic innovation.
We change our menus from time to time so there is always something new for you to try. Yet we do maintain some of the old favourites. Our signature dish (Blue Frog Seafood Curry) is a perennial favourite with our regular customers. It is a traditional fragrant seafood curry of Moreton Bay bugs, mussels, scallops and ocean fish that reflects flavours from the Straits of Malacca - Benny's homeland.
